The material stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304-A2) has a good corrosion resistance to weathering, is largely resistant to weak acids and building authorities tested and approved for moderate chloride and sulfur dioxide pollution.
Therefore the door handle system is used in almost all areas. It has proven extremely frequent and heavy use. Only the use in chloride, sulphate or other aggressive atmospheric environment (e.g. seawater) should be avoided.
